Overview
Transhuman 7 is a brief video essay on the concept of “transhumanism,” i.e., the idea that humans might use technology to improve themselves. It is, I think, an attractive concept. But, alas, it has also been claimed by some of the worst among us. That means that if we were to create superhumans, we would also have to give them not only superior minds and superior bodies but also superior morality. That, alas, brings up yet another question. To wit, would a perfect creature have anything to say to us? Or we to it?
